Chief Science Officer

Maxwell is an environmental scientist with a dual focus in climate change solutions and habitat conservation. He joined RainIons in 2017 and is responsible for proof of concept validation and internal testing. Most recently, he is designing and coordinating external testing which will provide the data necessary to confirm that the Negative Atmospheric Ionizer will be successful.  He has worked with government agencies and private firms to ensure ongoing development complies with environmental regulations.

He is passionate about protecting the environment and has dedicated his education and experience in pursuit of solutions to climate change. In his free time he enjoys photography, hiking, and rockhounding as well as spending time with his wife and two cats.

Master's degree in Climate Science and Solutions and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from Northern Arizona University.  Additional education includes a Technical Certificate in GIS and a CEQA Practitioner's Certificate.
