Segment 4: Machinery

While often overlooked, machinery does have a significant impact on air pollution and climate change. 

This segment includes gas-powered construction tools, landscaping equipment, farming tools, recreational machinery, etc. According to a California Air Resources Board (CARB) report, gas-powered lawn equipment in that state is set to outpace the smog-generating pollution from all of the millions of cars in California combined.
